— Intro to Frenchie Network —

Frenchie Network will be a high-performance, scalable, and secure smart-contract platform.
It is designed to overcome the limitations of previous generation blockchain platforms.

Frenchie Network will be permissionless, decentralized, and open-source.

Consensus mechanism used by Frenchie Network, aBFT its revolutionary between smart-contract platforms similar to Binance Smart Chain, Ethereum and others alike, it allows Frenchie Network to be much faster and cheaper than older technologies, yet extremely secure.

— Frenchie will be secure and environmentally friendly —

Frenchie will be secured by Proof-of-Stake. Unlike Proof-of-Work, used by Bitcoin and Ethereum, Proof-of-Stake prevents centralization and saves electricity.

Frenchie Network will provide institutional-grade security to distributed networks. Frenchie Network offers absolute finality, which means that transactions can never be reverted like in networks with probabilistic finality.

The consensus mechanism can also scale to hundred of nodes, increasing decentralization and therefore security.

Lastly, Frenchie Network will be leaderless. By removing leaders, security doesn’t rely on a small set of actors.

Fantom is permissionless. Anyone can run a node as it will require at least an m5.large General Purpose Instance on AWS from Amazon with 2 CPU and 8GB of memory or a Personal PC/Device with Ubuntu Server 18.04 LTS (64-bit) at least 250GB of disk space for now to ensure enough storage.

On Frenchie Network Chain, a virtually unlimited number of validator nodes can participate in securing the network, as long as they keep at STAKE a minimum of FREN balance, the specific amount will be announced before our Main Net Launch .

If you own lower amounts of the token or you’re not an expert in running distributed systems, you can still participate in securing the network.

You can delegate a minimum of 1000 FREN to a validator node, and get rewarded.

These are the first draft in regards of #FrenchieNetwork Chain, things might changein some configurations but overall this will the the basis of Frenchie Network.

Our Test Net is scheduled by the end of Q4 2021, and Main Net by end of Q1 2022.
